Our approach

Clear next steps.
In your hands.

National Disaster Inspections brings project planning, recovery guidance, and professional discovery into one place.

Start with what you know.

Choose a project need, property type, location, and timing. Use those preferences to explore matching criteria, prepare a shortlist, and organize next steps in your workspace.

Recovery guides, official resource links, and the documentation checklist are free to use without an account.

No commissions on your recovery.

NDI does not charge partners per lead or take a commission or percentage of a customer’s project, insurance claim or settlement.

Any fixed membership or sponsored-placement fees are disclosed separately and do not buy qualification or change report findings. Paid memberships and sponsored placements are not currently available. You can use the free tools without hiring an NDI-listed professional.

NDI program review and paid visibility serve different purposes. Any future sponsored placement will be labeled where it appears. Professional qualifications, service fit and the property owner’s choices remain separate.

Clear information builds better decisions.

  1. Use official sources.Go directly to responsible organizations for alerts, assistance eligibility, and regulatory information.
  2. Understand the scope.Keep documented observations separate from safety, legal, insurance, and repair conclusions.
  3. Know why a professional fits.Compare relevant services, property experience, service area, and credential information. Paid placement does not buy verification.
  4. Stay in control.Choose your next step and ask for written scope, timing, and costs before authorizing work.

Your workspace today.

The planning workspace keeps non-sensitive preferences on this device. The signed-in evidence vault stores project notes and files with owner-controlled reviewer access. The directory displays real businesses only after an operator records credential checks and permission to publish. Inspection requests are saved to a private review queue. An appointment requires a separate confirmation. Payment collection is not connected.

A clearer record, without pressure to choose everything today

Property recovery can leave you juggling photos, questions and several different organizations. NDI gives you a practical starting point: useful public guides, documentation tools and a project workspace for the records you choose to organize.

You decide whether to use a single free tool or start a project. Opening a project does not appoint a contractor, authorize repairs or submit an insurance claim. Professional services require their own confirmed scope and terms.

Understand what NDI is—and what it is not

National Disaster Inspections is independently and privately operated. We are not a government agency or affiliated with FEMA. Our public resource coverage is nationwide; the availability of an inspection or professional depends on the actual location, service and confirmation.

Information on this site supports organization and informed questions. It is not a safety clearance, coverage decision or substitute for advice from the appropriately qualified professional. Official agencies remain the source for current alerts and program requirements.
