Choose the organization for the question
For local access and recovery instructions, start with the emergency management resources for your state or territory and follow the relevant local authority. For a claim question, contact the company on your insurance policy. For an assistance program, use the agency or organization that administers that program.
NDI links you to these starting points; it does not operate the programs or determine eligibility. A national resource page is not a statement that a specific benefit is available for your address or event.
Check the destination before you share
Read the page address, program name, date and geographic eligibility. Navigate through the organization’s official site when you are uncertain about a link. Keep a note of any confirmation or reference number through your own records rather than a public comment.
If you want a place to organize your next steps, start an NDI project. Using our resources or workspace does not submit an assistance application, file an insurance claim or reserve an inspection.
