THE NDI PARTNER PROGRAM

A recognizable badge.
A record you can check.

NDI Certified & Approved is our private partner-program designation. It connects a business, a reviewed service scope, and a current verification record.

For property owners

Ask the professional for their NDI verification link or approval code. Match the legal business name, service and location to your project, then check the current status and expiration.

A badge may appear on a website or written estimate. If it is missing, ask for the live record. Its absence alone does not establish that a business is unqualified.

What NDI checks before approval

  1. Business identity and contact authorization. The legal business and its authorized representative match the submitted record.
  2. Applicable credentials and insurance.Review the relevant license or registration, insurance evidence, service type and jurisdiction. Requirements differ by trade and location.
  3. Scope and operating capacity.Record the services, property types, coverage area and availability the business can actually support.
  4. NDI workflow training.Confirm completion of NDI documentation, photo-labeling, owner-permission and project-communication onboarding.
  5. Conduct and badge-use acknowledgment.Confirm accurate representations, respect for owner choices, prompt status updates and linking the badge to its current record.

Applicants complete one of three 15-question, 10-minute assessments: roofing, contractors/subcontractors, or claims and legal professionals. The initial pass mark is 12 of 15. An applicant must also document at least two years of insurance-work experience with dated evidence. A passing score alone does not grant approval. Contact NDI before starting if you need an assessment accommodation. An NDI operator records evidence and a review decision. Approval lasts no more than 90 days between reviews and cannot extend beyond the recorded credential review or insurance expiration. NDI can revoke it; the live status changes immediately.

Know what the badge means. NDI is independent and is not FEMA or a government agency. This program is not a state professional license, government accreditation, insurance coverage decision, or guarantee of safety, workmanship, outcome or future availability. Always obtain an appropriate written scope and check current official credentials.

One hub. Permission at every step.

Partners receive limited project introductions based on fit. Owners choose an assignment and separately select the files to share. Messages remain in the project hub and can be reviewed by authorized NDI support, with notice to participants.
